Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul

And now–onward, Daughters of St. Paul of Europe and Quebec! Let us move on to concretize the new paths the Spirit is opening for the Pauline mission. Illuminated by the continual promptings offered us by the Word of God during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, let us take home with us the “action words” that inspire our mission: TO SERVE AND GIVE THE TRUTH, TO FULFILL EVERY GOOD RESOLVE, TO MOVE AHEAD, TO LIVE BY EVERY WORD THAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD, TO BELIEVE THE GOSPEL AND LIVE IN CONTINUAL CONVERSION, TO GO FORTH AND BEAR FRUIT.

And over everything echoes the powerful plea of Jesus. “FOLLOW ME!” embodied today in the experience of the Apostle Paul on his way to Damascus and in the invitation to get up and enter the city (not only a physical space), where we must take up our lives once again and resume our proclamation with new energy flowing from the Spirit, in an attitude of perennial listening, because it is only there (in the city) that we will we be told what we must do.

Affectionately,

sr. M. Antonieta Bruscato
Superior general
